What is more enjoyable than a campsite Rives du Lac having the feet in the water during your stay with friends or family? Swimming pools, lake, river…you will have plenty of choice… beneath the blue sky of the higher Alps. We have selected the best spots to discover!

Camping with Aquaparc

Every day in summer, the Aquaparc on the lake in front of the campsite is free for children!

It’s a huge playground of 1000m², on the water, that your children can enjoy!

There are balance courses, chases and, of course, more or less deliberate dives into the lake!

The Aquaparc at the Les Rives du Lac campsite is a real adventure course on water, with slides, springboards and obstacles to overcome.

It is finally an aquatic centre that the campsite offers to all the children, every day of the summer, under the sun of the Hautes-Alpes.

The Aquaparc des Rives du Lac is unique in the Alps!

If it’s worth it, here’s a little description:

The Aquaparc will offer you the maximum of sensations thanks to the various modules of which :

  • A tower with a climbing wall, springboard and slide
  • A course with obstacles to overcome
  • A monkey bridge
  • A flip for dantesque jumps

Staying by the water: lake and river

The lake (from May to October) next to Les Rives du Lac campsite is supplied by spring water; is shallow (3m max) and is supervised during school holidays. Also: games and fishing. (dogs are not allowed on the lake and in the lake)
Only 200m from the campsite there is a river where children swim along with the current and build pebble dams.
Very close to the campsite, directly next to a car park or after a few minutes’ walk, you can enjoy the Gorges de la Méouge, the rocks of Serres, the gorges of Gouravour, the Rabou waterfall, the Marmite du Diable….

Camp by the river

Imagine a day at camping with your feet in the water
In the morning, only wild ducks or kingfishers watch you on your stand UP Paddle on the lake.
A few swims in the warm water before walking twenty metres to the campsite for lunch.
The heated and covered pools are more attractive to your children, who enjoy the waterfalls and spas!
But before long, they’re all at the lake on the water games, competing in acrobatic jumps!
The whole family goes for a walk along the river and slides in the pools…
Back at the campsite, while the children take part in a basketball tournament with our entertainers, you enjoy a cocktail in your private jacuzzi while admiring the sunset on the Dévoluy… And what if tomorrow you went to try a canyoning in the Hautes-Alpes ?
